This is my family in Venezuela, my mom's side, a long time ago. What's happened to the country since shows how fast things can unravel. They've lived through all of it.
Now, on top of everything else, an earthquake has torn through large parts of the country. Even in Caracas, families in shelters still don't know where they'll sleep, find clean water, or get medical care. Aid organizations say what's arrived so far isn't nearly enough for what's needed.
So now, as I haven't been able to visit the country in 14 years, but owing so much of my childhood memories to it, I'm selling my prints: 100% of profit goes to Hilfswerk Austria earthquake relief fund.
